It is possible DriveWealth may restrict trading in certain securities, particularly during times of increased volatility. We try to ensure all symbols are open and available to trade, however, DriveWealth may need to restrict trading for a variety of reasons.
One reason DriveWealth may be required to restrict security is due to a trading halt. A trading halt is a temporary suspension of trading for a particular security, or securities, at one exchange or across numerous exchanges. Trading halts are governed by the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as part of Regulation NMS from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Financial Industry and Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Rules 6120 and 6121.
